Individual Involvement

If you’re a person with a disability interested in group or individual media coaching, contact jennifer@unabridgedpress.com. Our small team is now working intensively with a cohort of people we’ve trained and mentored since 2019 with foundation support. Some are planning and seeking funding for new podcast episodes and others are beginning work on a documentary film.

News Partners

All-Abilities Media videos, podcasts, and written work have been mentioned in The Washington Post, and is shared in full on the site of our lead project collaborator, Pittsburgh-based Unabridged Press. Our work has also appeared on NPR-affiliate 90.5 WESA, PublicSource and Pittsburgh City Paper, and the Economic Hardship Project. Our project leaders also serve on the board of the Pittsburgh Media Partnership. We’re always looking for new outlets to republish our work with credit, or work with the team to create exclusive content.

Education Partners

The Center for Media Innovation at Point Park University hosts podcast skills workshops in house and online. We offer assistance to educational and professional partners who want to bring these skills to high school and college students, businesses and nonprofits throughout the world. We are accepting invitations for speaking invitations online and around the world. We welcome Point Park University and students at other institutions who are seeking internships, practicum and work-study opportunities.

For all these opportunities, please contact Andrew Conte at 412-392-8055 or aconte@pointpark.edu.
