Leeuwin Voyage
Thanks to the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation, we’re delighted to share a unique opportunity with Ability WA customers.
On 1 February 2022, the iconic vessel Leeuwin will sail for 5 days, anchoring each night and different locations, returning to Fremantle on 5 February 2022.
There will be a ratio of 2 support trainees to 3 voyage trainees with a disability, plus 10 volunteers and 5 crew to ensure each participant enjoys the experience of a lifetime. And as always, the ship’s doctor will be on board.
If you would like to participate, the sponsorship reduces the usual rate to $1050 for Ability WA customers and includes all food, wet weather and safety equipment. Any support trainee’s fare is reduced to $250.
Unfortunately, the ship is not suitable for people who use a wheelchair. All participants must be able to make their way up the main companionway on the vessel (one flight of stairs).

Ultimate Sleepover - ages 11-15
If five days is a bit too long for you, there’s also the Ultimate Sleepover – staying on board alongside the wharf in Fremantle on 7 February 2022.
For safety reasons, participants must be able to make their own way up the main companionway. Unfortunately, the ship is not suitable for people who use a wheelchair.
There are 24 spaces available, with room for 16 carers or parents.
The age range for this experience is 11-15.
Afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast is included – and there is no cost to participate.
